Jon E Price is an artist and filmmaker, working in moving image, installation and sound.
Influenced by his upbringing on the industrial coastline of Southampton, the role of place takes precedence as a means to traverse the co-existence of technology and memory. These juxtaposing elements, when combined with his original soundscapes, conjure new multilayered and spatial works.
After many years as a commercial director, Jon reframed his relationship with moving image, completing a fine art MA at Goldsmiths, University of London. His practice continues to pursue personal and experimental works that questions abstract notions in material terms, concepts that are not just represented but felt and experienced.
